Vascular Laser
At Revive we have the new Cutera Excel V plus. This Laser is excellent for treating a wide range of skin issues as it has 2 different wavelengths which penetrate the skin at different levels. This makes it especially good for treating vascular issues. From spider veins on the face to larger veins on the legs, from birth marks to general diffuse redness, the Excel V allows the operator to adjust the targeting size and energy of the laser to suit each person safely. Laser light is monochromatic and synchronised, which means that the energy is absorbed by the targeted area and not the surrounding tissue, meaning that the surrounding tissue is less likely to be damaged.
The new Excel V plus has 2 exciting new additions- it has a Dermstat head which means it can treat tiny little blood vessels around the nose more easily and efficiently. It also boasts the new Green Genesis- which is a shallower laser length than the Original Genesis (which it still has). Genesis is like a light bath for the skin, so Green Genesis treats that annoying diffuse redness of rosacea, well. Original Genesis is great for building new collagen so rejuvenation and acne both active and scars.
Treatments are performed in sessions of 15 minutes for legs – the number of superficial veins dictates how many sessions will be needed. The laser has a cooled crystal head which makes the treatment more comfortable.
A consultation prior to the procedure is a must to cover all aspects of the treatment, including suitability pre and post care.
For leg veins, a 15 minute session is $500
Full face is $600 and specific, smaller areas can be treated and quoted in initial consultation.
