Mole Scanning
We are gifted with beautiful weather in Queensland, but we all know too well the damaging effect the sun can have on our skin. The words skin cancer sends shivers down anyone’s spine.
Moles and other skin blemishes will become more visible in the sun, but this doesn’t necessarily mean that you have anything to concern you health wise. Many will be completely safe and pose no danger to you.
Mole scanning records a close-up photo of moles on your skin that you or your doctor has identified as suspicious. This photo record is kept in our secure computer and is compared when you return for another Mole Scanning appointment.
This is an accurate way of monitoring any changes in your moles over a time period. This is not for every Revive Cosmetic and Skin Clinic patient, generally it is used on those with multiple lesions to give a roadmap to trace historical changes.
It is important that after your first Mole Scan at Revive Cosmetic and Skin Clinic you return for another appointment in three to six months. This is so that the comparison can be made and we can monitor any changes that may have developed. Failure to do so can expose you to the possibility of Melanoma. This service is bulk billed.
In addition to providing the most accurate mole scan service, at Revive Cosmetic and Skin Clinic we understand and take great pride in comforting you during this time. Our specialist skin cancer doctors provide our patients with the most comprehensive mole-scanning service you deserve.
Detecting skin cancer early could save your life. Get in touch with us today for a consultation and schedule your full body skin cancer check. This service is Bulk-Billed.
